Am I alone in hateing the new Female No 1 uniform. They make nice looking women look like men in skirts eeeech. I much prefer the old ones (like 1950's air stewardesses) Has anyone got nice tasteful photos of the afore said ladies (No
nudeity please cos that can spoil it and I try to think of myself as a non perve well not a serious one anyway)

It is, bring back any memories Hu?
Oh yes but it wasn't very often that I saw it from that particular angle - I usually entered from the rear (read that anyway you like:PDT_Xtremez_28: ) on the way back from the Mally:PDT_Xtremez_30:

I remember a couple of Gwars living there in the late 70's but not that particular one

Hu, I thought this was more of your era ?
Yes indeed the old black & white days - you didn't find out if the collars and cuffs matched till you'd got their "Drawers Cellular" around their ankles and the Tilley Lamp turned up full - and regardless of the lighting you could always find the Gingers in a dark room 'cos of the smell

I love gwar birds cos they remind me of the mess:PDT_Xtremez_31:

A Gwar Bird, a bottle of Heiney and a bag of Uncle Joes Mintballs - top night in!!!!:PDT_Xtremez_14:

I dunno

There's something about the RAF Airwomans No1 SD cap. As a cadet I knew a girly Cadet Warrent Officer that could melt you with a cheeky look wearing that thing.

The lastest WRAF skirt seems to have enough material to make two from one...It is now quite difficult to tell if the 'webbing' is donned
due to excessive coverage...You have to really concentrate and stare quite hard...Any ideas on this please send to: Colchester nick, Cell 14, Special wing.....:PDT_Xtremez_42:

Too Big

Too Big

I quite agree there us nothing worse than a baggy wraf. Bring back the days when they had a bit of shape about them. the old no 1 gave even the portlyest wraf some curves and flattered to deceive.

Scrolls back up and takes another look..............bloody hell, Hu, you are right!:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Skirts are better

Skirts are better

the trousers ensure that every girly went to stores and signed for their regulation WRAF arse.

I'm not old enough to have the old uniform, but i hate the new one- i look a right chimp in mine :(. Bring back the trolly dolly look!

Least you get frigging skirts! Our Nos1's made us all look like bender fenders!

Thanks Kit

Thanks Kit

I Agree with Kit. I Think it was a goverment ploy by new labour to de-prettify our female members of the airforce. the reason for this is many fold.

To stop us men fancying the ladies as much on AOC's Days sorry but It was the only thing I looked forward to at AOC's cos it was sH*t otherwise (Even 50 year old fat waaf sqn leaders look good. It is cheaper for them as the womens uniform is quite similar to mens now i.e. easier to mass produce cos women can wear trousers now if they like (How pathetic is that) not very feminine. You ladies are one of the things that made the air force bareable but now they have made you look just as plain as the rest of the rabble that are us and now there is just nothing to look forward to.

I used to lurve to see a well stacked lady of the WRAF persuasion in her No2 battledress (hairy mary) blouse, something about the way the breast pockets were filled:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Search kathy west, Suggest not through IGS!!!!
I will say no more. :PDT_Xtremez_35: :PDT_Xtremez_16:

I agree, have we really spent so much time as masculine men getting feminised, equal opped etc to forget that women are, when you look deep down, actually women!

Women should look like women, and for those that dont want to join the Navy, we have seen there Nos 1's!

Maybe the girlies No1 has been re-jigged to take into account the increasing number of chaps who are becoming chapesses. You have to cater for the chaps who are still equipped in the 'meat and two veg' dept prior to the transexual op. At a guess it would be difficult to walk properly wearing a tight skirt if you are still tackle equipped, so I guess we now have a more caring Air Force to cater for these individuals:PDT_Xtremez_30:
