What a great thread - just found it. Having been at both gigs, AC/DC '79 and LZ at the O2, WOW which one was best? Two totally different gigs - at a push I would go with AC/DC, Bon Scott was awesome that night. Some great new bands posted, I love that Dragonforce song. Talk about fast fingers!! Must see them live. I have the Tequila Rockin' Bird CD - freebie download, bloody great. As for Airbourne - got the Oz import CD after seeing them in March this year in Nottingham - Not a duff song on the whole album, I think these guys are destined for something special...... And the title track is just so good.

led zep are ok but when they did a remake of Rolf Harris stairway to heaven, i do not think they did it well.

Well I wouldn't want to let you down now, would I? It's the end of term today for me, so you'll all be free of any Roverannoyance until the 7th Jan. I'd like to wish every goater a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Good to hear from someone who managed to see the boys! Lets hope they decide to take this thing on the road eventualy! Im a bit peeved about the 'one gig' thing and thought it would only be Celebs and millionaires who would be invited, so to hear you went is great! I adore Zeppelin and live by them. Between you and me, the closest thing Ive heard to that sound is the Foo's. Bold statement I know but its true! I was lucky enough to see Floyd in 94 and will never forget it! Just the one gap in my life to fill so heres hoping Zeppelin wont leave it at this! Best regards and good ears mate, DG.
