Any Leeds fans in the Lincs area? I'm thinking of getting to a few of their games and was wondering if there were any like minded Goaters who fancy doubling up to keep costs down? Maybe some already do and I could maybe jump in with you?

Vim,

Don't want to p1ss on your chips here mate, but do you SERIOUSLY expect anyone on this site to go online and openly admit that they are fans of the White Sh1te do you?

Come on lad, think about it.

Now that is a little harsh WH!

They sometimes play in YELLOW!

PS I remember them when they were a force to be reconed with.

7 from 7 in the league so they aren't doing too badly now...They are coming back.

.... probably explains the sudden interest.

Followed Leeds all my life...This is the first time I've been geographically well placed to get to the games in 21 years...

I used to go when I was a kid...when it was really rough...:raf:

You hang in there Vim, not so long ago my beloved City were down in the dumps of the league divisions. I'm no fan of Leeds but it's always sad to see any once great club down there, Forest, Luton, etc.

Mind you, seeing Man U down there would have me busting my sides. :PDT_Xtremez_15:

Hope you find your travelling partner, I know what it's like to be so far away. The last 3 seasons I've only managed to see city at Craven Cottage.

The way Saints are going, we could be heading down to your league table!.

Im happy to see Barry Hearns boys top of League one though. I lived not far from the Orient whilst in London and took myself off to Brisbane Road on a couple of Saturdays.

Distance is no excuse me & my two sons travel once a month to Elland road sharing the 8+ hour drive, I seem to remember from my Conningsby days Leeds being less than 2 hours away get up there join us MARCHING ON TOGETHER only 66 points from safety

I'm pleased you have the time...I intend to but it would be nicer not to have to go on my own...it would be great to get a few in a car or on the train.

Stick with it VF, lifelong Leeds fan myself, remember Elland Road as a kid, Bremner and Lorimer (I think) smoking a tab in the tunnel at half time, stamping them out as the ref ran out saying 'second half lads etc'.:PDT_Xtremez_28:

LUFC 4 EVA, I think Leeds have the highest average attendances outside the premiership, and higher than some prem clubs,Reading,Bolton,Fulham,Brum,Blackburn,Wigan,Pompy and BORO.

i think that is also helping you claw back some of the points too!!

the pitiful attendances in this league dont help teams too much, we seem to do slightly better away when our fans are all together.. if you know what i mean? 20+,000 screamin sheep sha&&ers can only spur a team on!!

so looking forward to tuesday then?? we were once your bogey-bogey team..
i wonder if any of the magic spell is still lurking! we have got back to winning ways today and ..well you have to lose sometime!!

2 players missing too???? were they straight reds or not???

No both 2 yellows i think.Yeah your lot were big bogey team back in late 80s early 90s. You now have one of our cult heroes as manager,Shezza used to get stuck in never flinched a tackle and took a great free kick. Not sure about next week as you say we have to lose sooner or later. LUFC 4 EVA

I know...last minute goal sneaks the 3 points! And we'll have one of our 'on form' strikers back for Yeovil...:PDT_Xtremez_30:

what goes around...........(we did it to crewe on sat'day!!)

that had a draw written all over it... but you took the chance well and they were still celebrating after i had left.

this is a weird league!!!

apparentley oldham played well tonight but made very few chances, good luck to them for rest of season. 4000 leeds fans happy on way back down M62.
