It's the big one on Sunday, probably the game that most neutrals, and certainly Sky Sports, have been waiting for - Liverpool vs Man Utd.

Both teams go into Sunday's encounter on a good run of form and on the back of Champions League qualification, though most people are tipping Man Utd to win.

However, Saturday's result at Reading aside, I think we can do the business against them. We are due a big win against them, and providing we can put out a decent side (Gerrard doing his usual, Torres and Kuyt up-front, etc) a result is certainly possible.

What do YOU think?

Man U for me.
The fat spanish waiter has decided that his priorities lie in the CL. You can't compete in both.

As a Man city fan, I will want liverpool to win only because :PDT_Xtremez_32: man utd :PDT_Xtremez_32: are a bunch of gayers :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Out of 148 fixtures contested head-to-head:
United wins:56
Draws: 43
Liverpool wins:49

Both clubs claim the title of 'the Greatest English Football Club', with Liverpool winning a total of 40 major trophies, while Manchester United have 32. Liverpool dominated English football during the 1970s and 1980s, winning the European Cup four times during that period. Manchester United have been the most successful English team of the 1990s and early 2000s, winning the first English treble (of the European Cup, the Premiership and the FA Cup) in 1999.

Should be a belter of a game i think it will be tight

2-1 man u

2-0 Liverpool, both for Torres.

And I shall be there to savour it :PDT_Xtremez_30:

PSBM I do so hope your right, what would make it better is Winker sent off for diving and Taggert sent to the stands for excessive whingeing. Oh happy days

Either way lets hope its a great match. These events are often built up and turn out to be a damp squib.

2-0 Tevez, Ronaldo

I'm a Rangers fan so the result is neither here nor there to me. However, my twin boys are desperate for their team to win - One is a Man Utd fan, and the other is a Liverpool fan. Therefore, a scoring draw would go down well, and allow me to maintain a wee bit of peace over the festive period!!

Oh we don't have that many Scandanavians coming to Anfield. Far more Brummies and Cockneys go to Old Toilet :PDT_Xtremez_14:
I love it when the reds say that! Man U have a higher percentage of local support (based on season ticket sales by post code) than your lot. You only need to watch the flow of traffic up the M6 and M62 on a matchday to see the amount of liverpool scarves in cars.

Sorry guys, a forgone conclusion this one........3-0 to the Champions!!!:PDT_Xtremez_30:

I think you've been on those mushrooms again AD. 2 - 0 LFC, Torres and Gerrard, with John Arne Riise to break Ronaldo's legs (if he can catch him).:PDT_Xtremez_30:

For the good of my fantasy footy I would like to predict a 3-0 win to Liverpool. Two for Gerrard and an assist. In reality though I think it'll be a tight affair with the home side doing me proud with a 1-0 win.

Oh and isn't the sweaty sock banished to the stands for Manc Poos next two games?

Thanks to Tevez i'm a tenner better off!! I think the Liverpool players where too worried about their houses being burgled.
