A long shot I know due to the drawdown of overseas post but hopefully somebody can help me.

I am a SNCO serving overseas unaccompanied and in receipt of LOA ( not much I assure you).

However when I leave my area (frequently) my LOA reduces to 81% and I don't get any additional LOA for the country I am detached to, despite there being set amounts for temp duty, Ex etc.

Now others on my courses, debts, Ex etc do qualify for it as they either come from the UK or they are married and serve accompanied overseas. Married personal still retain 100% of their LOA as families are deemed to be still in situ (like my phone, Internet, car insurance etc) and they also qualify for temp duty rate of the place they are at.

Scenario, married guy det from overseas to Italy receives £10 a day.

Single guy from Brize detached to Italy receives £10 a day.

Single guy detached from other overseas looses 19% LOA and receives nothing additional.

I would be grateful if anybody can assist me with this, my own admirers are located elsewhere due to my remote location and read the JSP as such, which doesn't seem right.

many thanks in advance.

Don't singlies 'in country' receive much more LOA than married guys, usually living in accommodation that they can cook their own food...... How is that fair for the majority of the year?

Which Country are you talking about, then we can look up the facts & figures.

All the best, Pete
