Seriously?

I think the OP has heard someone talking about the LSAP while passing an open office door and made most of the conversation up.

Actually, and this was a couple years ago, when I was applying for lsap I had a read of what it can be used for and home improvements ie an extension was included in what you can use it for. Not sure if that is still the case

I could do with a Home Improvement advance to fix my MQ too !
:)
Although a conservatory is a little over the top.....

If you build an extension on your MQ do DE class it as an improvement and let it stay, or do they make you take it down six months after completion because you've been posted?

I think it can stay as long as the walls are magnolia! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

My advice would be to stay away from the CDT Team....:S

I think you have probably heard that LSAP can be used to fund an extension on a private property if certain circumstances are met, i.e need extra space for medical needs or a growing family, and confused this for a home 'improvement' 60 minute makeover style loan.

This is only purely for the building works and if you read the lines below I have extracted from the JSP you will see that you cant use it for furniture!!

b. No part of the LSAP may be used towards the cost of furnishings and fittings.

LSAP cannot be used to cosmetically modernise a property. For example, to update a kitchen or bathroom suite where the existing one is deemed fit for purpose.

jeeez some of you guys are so sh*tty yet some of you are quite hilarious lol. was ony asking..... but thanks for replies...looks like i better get savin for that nursery furniture then!! :S ha ha 60 min make over would see all the woodchip (every room, plus ceilings....love it) and would die! cheers neway wino x
