Hi all.

Tried scouring the net and the e-goat forum to no avail on this one and hoping some kind person has the gen I need.

Long story short, I'm buying a house and using a £5,000 LSAP to boost my deposit... however... my rather inept Solicitor didn't send off the promissory note 3 weeks ago when I returned it to them as they requested so they could make a copy before forwarding it onto the SPVA, now my plan to be in the house on the 1st of Sept now seems unlikely.

Does anyone on here know how long, roughly, it will take for the Solicitor to get the money if SPVA receive the form in the next couple of days and if there are any more admin points the SPVA will need from me such as forms, DNA samples, sacrificing small woodland animals to Satan etc?

Cheers

If I remember rightly mine took about 4 weeks
Stupid bint we were buying the house off was shacked up with some aircrew berk who fed her a line about it taking ages and she threatened to call off the sale if it wasn't completed in 6-8 weeks.
Needless to say we were all sorted and in within 6

Just been through this. 10 working days from getting the promisary note back to the money being in the solicitor's account. Good luck.
