Our non-scc package has decided to give up the ghost and after the best part of a day ringing around i've discovered that there is naff all in the way of technical support. The IT guys here have no knowledge on it, and i've exhausted all contacts that I know of.

Are there any stackers out there who know a bit about this bag of s*** system, or if there is any technical support now that small system group has disbanded? Any help would be appreciated.

Daft question but have you spoke to the help dest at Wyton? If not drop a PM and I may be able get a number.
 
Have spoke to Wyton although no help desk exists anymore. For some reason the support has been disbanded although the system is still being used throughout the RAF. Have been told by HQ Air that we're pretty much on our own unless it affects op's.

Sorry mate but we're all on our own. The support was withdrawn about 2 years ago and the cell at Wyton closed down. My suggestion would be to smash the piece of crap up and go back to 1640's. Ball ache I agree and of no use to you. And that was from a mate who is at LCC central and they normally do stuff for sysytems like that.
 
There is ment to be a lot of things going on to USAS 2. Put it this way when it was loaded onto St Mawgans CPU for the first trial it lasted 2 days before it fell on it's arse, no surprise to us at LCC Central. But hey what do we know?

The IT support for Non SCC was withdrawn a few at the start of this FY. I had a few chats with Air Cmd IT bod’s and A4 bod’s. They assured me they would sort something out. Get me put on to MJDI or piggy back off another unit. As ever nothing all happened.

So I have thrown out my NON SCC system, shoved everything on to an excel spread sheet.

But I do have an advantage in that the auditors and anyone else carnt get into were I work.
