Don't know just how genuine this is, but it came from a 'reliable source':

As from 15th Feb 2008 the speed cameras between junctions 10 (Wisley/A3) and 15 (Heathrow) WILL be active. At present they are set intermittently to activate with any vehicle travelling over 93 MPH. As from the 15th they will be permanently set to activate at 80 MPH.

I am reliable informed that everyone travelling over this speed WILL get a ticket. This will no doubt rake the Government `loads of cash`. DON’T GET CAUGHT.

Hahahahahaha! get up to 80 on that stretch of the M25!:PDT_Xtremez_30:
Thats funny!

At the moment they are only turned on in peak hours for traffic flow control.
Perhaps our resident traffic warden, Lisa could shed some light on this?

Shouldn't be a problem if you go off your car speed-o. Both mine apparently over-read by about 5 mph at 80. Not that my KA gets to go that quick often!!

Me and GEM have been working on a new Speed Gun which we are hopeful will make us a few squid and keep retired armourers in work and beer money

We are convinced it will cut down on the number of re-offenders

I'm going to PVR immediately, I don't want to be associated with Armourers any more, people who invent speed guns and cameras should be covered in petrol and set alight! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

If it includes a "blow the fcuk out of the 40mph driving gimp" button on it, I'd buy one. :PDT_Xtremez_28:

It does

It also has a waste the Tw@t who sits in the middle lane doing 55mph too

It comes with additional software and sensors to detect and eliminate uninsured and untaxed illegal minicab drivers too - which should help clean up 45% of Wolverhampton - allegedly.............:PDT_Xtremez_15:

Glad to see you went for the forward facing option there Hu. Be unsporting to nail the feckers in the back eh?

Can we program it to shoot out inappropiate fog lights too? Or shoot slow vehicles that pass perfectly good lay bys with 5000 cars stuck behind them?

We're working on a mobile version a bit like the ones in the James Bond cars of the 70's I'm going to trigger it with the ABS - I figure if anyone causes me to brake that hard they don't deserve to be on the road and anyway it will clear the obstruction hence improving traffic flow

:PDT_Xtremez_42:

The anti chav mobile version is coming along quite nicely. It automatically locks on to modified Saxo, Nova and rover 25 models delivering short bursts targetted mainly on blue LED's and any burberry material.

We still need to iron out the slight problem of the OAP lady driver in the checked headscarf.

I used to get a lift home with an armourer on my trade training. Bored one week and f*cked off with those that travel in the fast lane of the A14 at 60 blocking the road, he tried to do the maths for an "Astra mounted Mauser Cannon". He reckoned 1 shot would put his car at -2mph though.

we won't have that problem, we're using ret'd 20mm from the tombs, a .25 sec burst of HE puts 15 rounds into the offending vehicle and the recoil is absorbed by several sets of bellville washers and fcuk off big springs:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Yes AND A FERK OFF BIG ENGINE:PDT_Xtremez_28:

I actually know some of the people (yes, they are human) that patrol the M25 in fast vehicles and they say Digital speed cameras are being reactivated on the 15th - but to prove the new Limits you are invited to test them in the normal way!

Good Luck!
