Spurs have done bloomin well to get to this stage of the competition, and have beaten teams with long and illustrious European competition pedigrees. Personally I thought they wouldn't get past the group stages as playing at this level of competition is something that usually has to be learned; it even took Fergie a few goes before he got the formula right.
Sadly, as has been said by Spurs staff and fans, if it could go wrong last night, it did. Defensive howler for the first, unbelievable stupidity by Crouch, shocking marking for the second, the third was a worldy and Gomez could have done better for the fourth. The behaviour of the Madrid players, pumping fists and applauding Crouch's sending off represents one of the more pitiful sides of the game, and the character of certain players. At least Jose had a consoling hand on the shoulder for Crouch, not sure his teams mates will though!
Turning a 4 zip around at the Lane is a monumental task and if they do it, well our Istanbul feat may just be surpassed

Finally, can Sky FFS use some of their red-button technology to mute Ray Wilkins; he makes David Pleat sound logical and coherent.
"Spurs have defended corners well" - Well apart from the two they conceded from that is
"At least they stayed on their feet in the box" - Apart from the two players who in the replay clearly lunged in risking pens
"Spurs don't deserve this" - Even though he then goes on to say they've been ripped apart
