Man United to Float on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)

Man U are to raise $100M in a US initial public offering in order to repay debt.

Personally, I think thats a good thing after the Glaziers funnelled all the club's income into paying off their debts incurred in buying the club!

Only bad thing is that Americans get the chance to buy shares before us.

The Glaziers have tried before to raise money via stock markets. My bet would be that any money generated in New York goes out of the club into the glaziers wallets to service their enormous debts rather than be invested inwards on new players, better facilities for fans etc
