I was watching the march past of the Cenotaph on sunday on the TV and I noticed some of the people were wearing medals in slightly odd places. I know your own medals are worn on the left where they are on your number 1's and father/ grandfather's medals on the opposite side. However some of the guys were wearing a medal up on the collar of their jacket on or above the poppy any idea why this is?

I had a little search on google etc couldnt find anything.

Sorry abut the state of my original post. I was doing 3 things at once and not paying attention it should make more sense now its in english :)

It might be that they are wearing the Veterans Badge, which most people pin on their lapel.

I get confused

Were they medal medals or lapel badges i wear two cos i was reg air force plumber. Then retreaded as armoured recce in the TA so wear one RAF Crest and a RAC Crest. Bit like the snowdrops "what trade are you UUH" looks at shoulder "Police":PDT_Xtremez_35:
