Does anyone know who would be the best person in the med centre to contact with regards to getting a couple of first aid kits issued and another 1 refilled?

Cheers

I would say try The Stn Cdr mate he may have some idea of who to ask in the Med Centre, failing that ask at reception.

No - what you need to be doing is go to see the SWO as he outranks the Stn Cdr and tell him what you need. He'll sort it out for you....

hey

its not a wah, am adult staff with an air cadet squadron, am looking tosee if its possible to get some kits added to the inventory and another 1 replenished.

Normally RAF wise (don't know if it works the same for ATC) we just phone med centre and ask them. Then we take around first aid kits and they replenish them. Phone the reception and ask who is in charge of first aid kit replenishment. Then speak to them.... Like I said, don't know how it works for civvy groups! No offence meant!

Thanks very much for the advice will give the reception a call tomorrow and see how i get on

cheers

You may find the medical centre don't do first aid kits anymore. At this Unit it's all sorted out through Supply! :PDT_Xtremez_09:

Speak to someone in Medical Stores and they should be able to assist. It is becoming more and more common to get FAKs through your unit Supply Sqn, who in turn will put it on your inventory.

Unfortunately with all the budget cuts it's becoming far too expensive for med centres to have to carry on issuing FAKs. We now have to account for every single bandage and plaster we use now as well which is frankly bloody ridiculous. Most places now will still replenish your kit for you but the initial issue will be Supply.
