Hi, im new to the forums so not sure how many times the issues of medical assessments has some come; well i passed my selection interview yesterday and am booked in for a Medical thursday; im concerned that i was on medication for a strain, nothing serious, and has cleared up now. do the RAF reject any applicant if they have had any medication within a period of time, no matter how mild the condition is?

There's not a lot you can do about the medical - you either pass it or you don't. If you don't it will almost certainly be for a good (long term) reason. I can't imagine medication for a strain will have too great an impact but I am not a medic so don't take my word for it. In the meantime, don't stress about it.

alright cheers, just a bit concerned as i'd rather be told i'd failed on the medical side before i put in the work for the AST and SI but ill wait and see

Based on your aillment of a strain, no drug (legal) for this will compromise your medical.
