Some help please. I have my medical next week and was wondering what tests they might be carrying out. I have left a message with them, but had no reply. For example, will I have to fast for Cholesterol testing and such like. Any help is appreciated.

With the interview, should the presentation I have been asked to give be related to the profession that I am joining, or something off the wall? What do you think. Many thanks.
 
You have to give a presentation now, eh? Why the hell do they want you to do that? Seems a bit daft. :PDT_Xtremez_41:
 
You'll have to give us somemore info. What trade are you going for?
I certainly didnt have to give a presentation, but then again Im Force Protection.

Again, maybe your trade has specific medical test requirements, but mine needed a urine test(no fasting required). There is an eye exam, then eye test, then a hearing test(bleeps in the booth). They take your height and weight, check your bollocks. Then go through the questionaire that youve already filled in.
Thats about it really.
 
The presentation was trade (medical) related, am an ODP. It was to show that you can stick to time (10 mins) and comfortable talking in front of others. Passed interviews and medical, but have been told I need to lose some weight. I new that this was going to happen, but now know how much I have to lose.
