Most Metallica fans out there will probably already know that the band release their new studio album in just over a week. To mark the launch, the band are doing a show at the O2 arena in London on Monday 15th September. Cost of tickets is just £5 per person (limited to 2 tickets per application).

Metallica have said that this will be no ordinary Metallica gig, but that they will be playing the whole new album along with lots of stuff that they don't usually play. The show is also rumoured to be 'in the round' with a central stage.

I thought that tickets for this would sell out instantly, but when I checked at lunch time they were still available. The only thing you have to do to be able to get the tickets is to register on their website at http://www.missionmetallica.com/ in order to get a registration code to use on ticketmaster to buy your ticket.

b0llocks, bugger, sh1t got a course the next day and will need to be able to hear, aarrrrrrggggggg.

Excellent spot though.

New album is good. It needs 3 - 4 listens, just like any good music, but its far more like it than St Anger.

The new video is on Metallica.com.

Why is it I always hear they are playing after they've sold out!!!

I can't find any evidence of tickets!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

**EDIT**

Go to the vault on the site linked above, some cracking live concerts as MP3 there!

Try again tomorrow Mono, I did read on one of the Metallica forums that they are releasing more tickets on a semi regular basis.
