I am a couple of weeks away from the big 50, and I am thinking of calming my mid life crisis with a flash motor. The misses is trying to get me to sell the motorbike, and using the option of buying a car as a replacement toy, I like the look of the Nissan Z350 and the Honda S2000, what do you think?
 
Both have their good points..
The 350 is a great motor and corners well with good handling. Plenty of room and their fairly well equiped.
The S2000 has to be thrashed to get anything out of it but is a good car, decent std equipment too. Small'ish engine so it's cheaper to tax than the nissan.
Personally i'd go for the 350Z in black with red leather interior but it's down to you.

Nice choice - but I would have gone for Orange with Black Leather interior in Homage to the great Datsun 240Z (my all time favourite Japanese car)

Get an M3...

That’s what I intend to buy next!!! Proper chav motor! Although they are ultra fast, handle sublimely, and break on a six pence. Fcuk the badge chavness, the ultimate driving machine...Oh yes! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

I've done the 50 thing, still got both my bikes and three cars; one to commute in, one for fun & one that does everything. Might have to cut down when I retire; still the missus has the most miles on the clock:PDT_Xtremez_42:

I thought an M3 was a c0ck extension rather that a mid life crisis car??.... a marine requiring a c0ck extension.... that's new! ;)
 
Unless your intending to spend some serious money then you'll never be able to replace the pure entertainment of biking (unless your a BMW rider of course).

Get your 350Z etc and the first time your stuck in traffic, or on a clear road, you'll kick yourself (especially now the weather is improving)

I had to give up my bike due to being poverty striken and everytime its

dry and marginally warm i regret it, try and wangle keeping both.

I like the fact you think that 50 is mid life and therefore you expect to live to at least 100+. I have the same crazy notion:PDT_Xtremez_30:
