Anyone out there got a scooby as to how to clean the internals of a minidisc?? I've just found one that has the only surviving copy of me playing rock god in the garage aged 14/15 and would love to hear it properly again, trouble is the internal disc is dirty and won't play properly.

So far I haven't found any kind of cleaner to do it, so any advice welcome!!!

Is there anything on the Sony website about cleaning them Mono? I'll go and see if I can find all my minidisc stuff upstairs in a minute.

To be honest, I've not looked at Sony's site, as my old portable MD player was a Kenwood (£250 back then), same as the seperates unit (£380 back then). Christ, to have disposable income like that again :S

Will have a butchers, but some sites even positively discourage even thinking about using an MD head cleaner!!!!!
