Mod to buy £78 million air defence for FI from Israelis

I have to be honest but what a waste of taxpayers money. Defence from what exactly? A virtually non-existent Argentinian Air Force or do they think those pesky Russkies are eyeing up the Falklands? No doubt someone, somewhere will be making money out of this but it definitely isn’t us.

Isn’t this whole thing just an egregious waste of money? The retards at the MoD are possibly considering even more cuts to the Armed Forces, the Navy’s ships are buggered with yet another one limping back into port and our new jets are going to cost the feckin’ Earth.

No-one in their right mind would want the Falklands apart from penguins and other assorted wildlife. If the people there want to buy a nice missile defence system then let them but let’s stop wasting taxpayers money on the place.

I'm fairly certain that Lloyds won't be stumping up to buy them a shiny new one...

I guess that as it's an AD unit that it won't be much cop at sinking the ships bringing an Argentinian invasion party. Perhaps if they did successfully invade it would come in handy for them to use against the masses of attack aircraft we would bring to bear to liberate the FI again.

Not entirely sure the political will would be there to send troops into harms way, not with the retards currently in government. They talk the talk but have the spines usually found in jellyfish.
