If you are working on the Sentenial R1's.. No licence for the certifier as the aircraft is on the military register.. The other ones are Sgt or possibly Cpl..If you aren't one, no licence matey..

I don’t think they will 'get' their license, but they may have to work their socks off for two years to be awarded certifying privileges by the CAA etc.

That they do.. crash course for the modules and 1 years experience on PART 145 orgs including type course, propeller course, engine course (for the B1s) and sufficient OJT on the type.. Then they have an approvals board by the Quality Manger of the organisation supplying top cover for the RAF. The CAA award the licence and the Type Rating, but its the QM that decides "Yes, you can certify release to service certificates on 5 Sqn Beeches"..:raf:
