Greetings one and all, I'm pondlife (the lowercase 'p' is deliberate, I know my place in life!).

Recently out of the mob and currently working my way through my comutated pension; the old farts amongst you will know what I'm on about.

Brief history; ex Brat, so arm swinging and being shouted at comes naturally, for a taster see any episode of Bad Lads Army. Public school was also a good preparation for apprenticeship as well as HM Prisons.

Been to Conners/Leuchers/Oders/Guters/Shawbers/Colters/Vallers/Newters and Witters. Also been p1ssed as a newt in Aldergrove and Belize. Worked on 'Tooms/Pumas/Wessex/Hawks and Harriers Marks 3 to 7.

Now adding to the financial drain on the NHS, trying to keep up with New Labours grand plans for electronic healthcare (hah!). Also wondering how we're going to get rid of the ever growing mountains of early pentium PCs that no-one wants, and that's just our Trust.

Growing mountain of early Pentium PC's........wondering what to do with them? Have you thought about bidding for a defence contract?

I'm sure the RAF would be interested, I may even get an upgrade here!!

Hi Uplander, Errr, actually it was only two years squished into the mould in the late '60s. So that would be fifteen man rooms, lots of shiny brown lino and all the blanket bed-packs you could eat. LOL. Seriously, it made me what I am, a suitable case for treatment!
