Well, what is there to say? I'm a civvie (and a student, and a spacey ... yeah, i know ... ) looking at joining the local UAS, which I understand involves drinking and flying, in that order.

Have always wanted to join the RAF since I picked up dad's copy of "Reach for the Sky" and read about Douglas Bader. However, I don't plan on losing my legs, and admittedly it would probably take a world war for the RAF to actually accept me, but there you go.

I also know Bill Bones (yon auggie jockanese rock type). This is a source of constant embarrassment. :PDT_Xtremez_14:

Welcome to the Goat. So...know any good stories about the Bonester you'd like to share with us? Purely for research purposes, natch. :PDT_Xtremez_28:

Welcome and have fun! What are you going to study at university and what would you like to do in the RAF?

Anyone with a shred of common wouldn't do it in that order

I was thinking in terms of priorities ... much as I adores a good jar or ten, I wouldn't care to go flying while merry - I can get the spinning effect on the ground, ta!

Alright mate,

Nice of you to tell me you were joining, I hope to chirst you were arsed to put my name in the referrers box.

Marksman does enjoy Guinness and Wobbly a fair old bit, so go easy on him, he's one of us :PDT_Xtremez_28: .
