Hi everyone,
I'm going to be moving from blocks to SFA in the next few weeks and to be honest I'm struggling to find anyone who can give me a straight answer or will give me the time of day so I thought Id ask here.

I have my march in booked but does anyone have any major hints or tips or things i should be particually weary of?

Also, who do i contact to march out of blocks? Not sure how i sort that out!

Any help or advice would be ace. Thanks All!

Basically, on your march-in (or during the 14 days afterwards) mark down every single little defect that you can find, including nails and pictures hooks in walls, damage to walls (scuff marks, etc), stains or worn areas on carpets, any damage or stains on curtains, damaged kitchen units and general cleanliness of the cooker, etc, damage or stains to any hard flooring, and the cleanliness and condition of the bathroom. Believe me, if you don't mark it down, they'll pick you up for it on march out and charge you for it.

Oh, and don't forget the garden. It should be mown, neat and tidy when you move in. If it isn't, make sure DHE come and sort it out.

This gives link will give you some basic blurb, but I think there's better info available through the Defence Intranet (which I can't access at the moment - sorry)
