New boss not like Old boss

  • Following weeks of work, the E-GOAT team are delighted to present to you a new look to the forums with plenty of new features. Take a look around and see what you think!
Plenty of Armourers had much to say on Facebook about this yesterday as it was her who f'cked them over with the Supp 2 debacle apparently?

I think she should focus more on the pressing issues instead of jumping on the SJW bandwagon. We don't care what your gender is or what 'diverse' background you come from. We want people that can do a job.

Maybe focus on reducing a bloated bureaucratic command structure full of personnel from Sleaford Tech who are there just to justify being there...just saying!!! We have IT which makes a lot of middle-management redundant. Clinging onto the OLD 'Chain-of-Command' structures that isn't fit for purpose in the modern age.

Focus on promoting your personnel that know what they are doing and not the charity worker/golfer. It's more than likely no coincidence that engineering standards aren't what they used to be since we promote those who self-promote but don't pass down the necessary skills, attitudes etc to the newer generation of Airpeople.

I could go on but hey-ho. What do I know? No...Lets focus on gender issues!!!

I was shouting that for four years at a certain fast jet fleet....not a glimmer of understanding at the top - So I left them to it....

100% agree with this, i don't care about your gender or the colour of your skin, but apparently this beats your skillset and abilities wrt promotion etc.

A colleague in a different trade group is a 34 year Sgt and has been offered 3 years further service.

Plenty of TG1 WOs who are on a 5 yr extension from 55 to 60 too.

Well, that's great for promotion flow then!

I can't imagine a 59yr old on the battlefield.

Promotion not a problem with an outflow rate for A Eng Tech at 14% - I think the high exit rate was a factor in the offers.

And I did say WO.............

I didn't say WO, or TG1. There was an implication that there are some geriatric Sgts knocking around.
