Hi. Having one of those increasingly common bouts of nostalgia that tend to afflict the aged I got to wondering what happened to some of the folks I met during 9 years of service between 1957 and 1966. Postings as a medic included RAF Hosp Ely [about a year], NATO Headquarters Fontainbleau 2.1/2 years, Wattisham, [3years], and Wroughton where I ended my time as casualty evacuation coordinator. Ironically after living in many parts of UK I have ended up back near Ely where the rail station is virtually unchanged since I was 18 and lugging my kit bag! and sadly few bits of the old hospital remain.
Anyone from around that time and the above bases seeing this do get in touch.
Regards.
Cpl. Tony Whatling - though I tend not to use the title!!

And count yourself lucky that they have got in new stocks of lube!

Welcome! :)

Apparently Mongy Muppet blubbed like a girl, so they had to get some in for H&S reasons. I might rejoin the goat so I can take advantage of it!
