New Military Charity

Launched tomorrow is a new military charity 'Help for Heroes' (www.helpforheroes.org.uk)

(sorry can't provide the links myself, but I am not pc 'wise'. I am sure some good Goater will do the honours).

It is a charity targeted at specifically at helping those service people injured in the current conflicts, firstly by helping Headley Court get a swimming pool, which they shamefully don't have and a new gymnasium.

It looks like well run charity, with 'celebrity' backing and the current COS.

Well worth a look.

A worthy charity for a very worthy cause. Help for Heroes are launching a fund to raise money to build a gym and full-sized pool at Headley Court rehabilitation centre.

Lets hope they put the Government to shame and raise the much needed cash.
