Queen have just released their first new material since 1998.

It's been recorded for Nelson Mandela's 46664 AIDS awareness charity and has been made available for free download from Queens website HERE.

It features Paul Rogers on vocals (ex Bad Company and Free) who was the vocalist when they toured in 2005, and although he is not Freddie Mercury he did a very good job of the vocals by not trying to be Freddy but just being himself.

Just downloaded it and as a MAHOOSIVE fan of Queen, it's a real return to form. Though, as Ming Mong has pointed out, Paul Rodgers is not Freddie, he holds his own and, TBH, I can't think of anyone else I would rather have fronting them now.

Well done lads - here's looking forward to a new album...?

I went to see them a couple of years ago when they did a few shows at Wembley with Paul Rogers in and no John Deacon. Paul Rogers did a good job and they introduced some free & bad company numbers, wishing well, feel like making love, can't get enough of your love & alright now, to their set and it was quality.Off Topic How rock 'n' roll was John Deacon? not many people could get away with being in a rock band wearing a tank-top:PDT_Xtremez_19: (as he so often did)

I was fortunate enough to see them a couple of times in 1986 (Wembley Stadium and Knebworth) and they were fantastic. I thought Freddie would be irreplacable, and in many ways he was. Paul Rogers from what I have seen has done a very good job of vocals for Queen. I would love to see them tour again with some new material.

It seems that Brian May and Roger Taylor ar good friends with Dave Grohl, so how about Queen in the support slot for the Foo Fighters at Wembley next year, that would be epic.
