I'd hate to live in San Diego...all that sun and chicks and stuff looks so tedious.

Yehhh Vim, It's a major bummer!... I'm originally from Wigan and long for the dark rainy nights! :p

Been here 20 years, had the lobotomy done about 10 years ago and became a fully fledged Yank! :excitement:

If I lived in Wigan I'd want to get away as quickly as I could.

Do they do pies in San Diego

PS welcome on board

Haven't heard of any pie eating competitions in San Diego!.. Still looking! I do miss a nice Meat and Potato pie or even a cornish pasty! But I don't think that I'll be moving back to Wigan from San Diego any time soon to get it! :-)

Have you had a sex change?

It's actually a valid question on the goat (those that have been around a while will understand)

After an extremely close scrutiny I can declare that all parts are in tact and functioning correctly!

Nope I've not had a sex change!

But having lived in the US for 20 years I am a bit out of touch with Brit lingo. In fact in true 'Yank' fashion I do sometimes have trouble understanding what the bloody hell is being said!

On closer thought maybe pie eating isn't something that I'd want to discuss with my wife and three kids although I'd sure that it goes on, even in America! :smiley_simmons:

'Pie' means a hot thing dripping with gravy. What do you mean by 'eat'?

[Had this thread better go to the Pigs' Bar before the Dog gets cross?]
