New To All This - Help

Hi folks, im after some knowledge, im a SAC(T) at marham and was looking to do a car mechanics course. How do i go about finding out if i can get help with funding or time off work to attend.

I keep hearing about these standard learning credits and people having days off the go to college but i dont know if that is for a particular course or what.

Please help.

Visit TDF, see if you can do such a course aand if you can, ask your JEngO if your section can spare you if it day release.. Simples.

I did a Motor Vehicle Engineering GCSE at our local college - a good intro to Car Mechanics. Night classes - 1 a week. Cost about £40 way back then.

Speak to TDf ref funding, and what level the course has to be at.

Your course has to be at level 3 on the NQF to be eligible for SLC funding.

You need to look at something like a BTEC National Certificate.
