I thought night subsistence covered bed and breakfast only. It's day subsistence that covers lunch and dinner; you're allowed one glass of wine or a pint, if I recall.

Yep, A DS claim may include an alcoholic drink.

Last time I was on it, it was 1 alcoholic drink. Pint, 1 short+mixer, glass of house wine...

As many non-alcoholic as you want up the limit.
