NSN Assistance Please & Thank You

Good morning oh gurus of the shelves!

Would appreciate if anyone with a half decent clue to NSN numbers could provide some assistance.

I was given an NSN of "5110 99 122 0849" and was informed that they were for 6" Scissors. Stupidly I thought that 6" was the blade length.

Subsequently said scissors arrived and though very nice, are bleeding tiny (total length just a smige over 5") and no use for cutting through reams of TALC and large scale mapping.

Therefore can please furnish me with a NSN number in order to order some decent sized scissors.

PS - Before suggesting I have had a look at the ISO Parts website with no real joy - discovered what I have are designated embroidery scissors! and using scissors as a keyword gives no information to description or size.

Did that initially and was informed that scissors were to be demanded on a F7109 and was provided by afore mentioned NSN that subsequently no use.

Now if I am reliably informed that they are the only scissors that can be obtained then I can reasonably place a special demand form in requesting the original request for Scissors from the Lyreco Catalogue.

Try 5110-99-1275125 or 5110-99-9424741. The first one is 10" overall length and the second one is 8" overall length. Demand them both and see which ones suit your job if not just rtn them to stock.
