BTW I think there is a NATO winter survival training school there also so you may be able to get something there?

I have just been down that way stayed at Garmish close to Oberamagau, there is an American holiday resort there for American troops that you can get into very cheap has all the American facilities free wifi gym ect.
I myself stayed at the best western at Garmish loved it highly recommend it

I stayed at the Garmish camp site a few years ago & it is a quality location. Only cost a few USD per night & had top facilities. You can book a pitch online by quoting NATO on your booking ref IIRC.

Try haushannah, that in O'gau and does a really good deal.
