Op Bonus etc.....

Right guys, be patient with me here. I've not been away on a sandy holiday since 2009, so....

Whats the script with this "Op Bonus"??

I thought it was Op Allowance? (Used to be £13 a day, then doubed to £26)

Plus we get our LSA depending on which rate we are on?

So whats this Op Bonus? Something else? Or just another term for the daily rate Op Allowance?

For Op Bonus read Op Allowance - £29.02 per day tax free!

Absolutely not. When I did BSN, I served with a couple of RN lads who were on £28 per day LSA!!!!! fair enough LSA is taxed but they were laughing all the way to the bank!

Didn't there used to be (or still is) an LSA bonus if you do a certain number of days away within 2 years?

Yeah, they were allowed to carry forward all their previous days away on board (I think it was called LSB).
