Does anyone know which trades are open at the moment and how long the recruitment process can expect to take for these trades?

Yes the Recruiting Office staff do...it's their job!! Get yourself down to an AFCO and find out or wait for one of them to post on here...but they may not be allowed to as this is an Unofficial site!

I'm interested in joining as an SNCO ATC and just wanted to get an idea of how long it takes on average from applying to attending OASC. I'm going to visit my local AFCO on Monday morning but wanted to try and get some sort of idea beforehand.

SNCO ATC is open (I know that much) so it will all depend on how soon your AFCO can get you an OASC date. You'll have to wait for all your checks and clearances but there's no reason why you should have to wait too long...it will all depend on how booked up OASC is. Sorry no idea how long (on average) it takes though!!

Thanks for the information. I'll pay my local AFCO a visit on Monday morning and discuss my options. I think it's about time i had a change of career.
