How was opening day for your football league club all expectations met or first day disappointment?

For the Mighty Stanley not much has changed from last year the opposition manager slagged off our pitch big time and the game ended 0-0.

"Aldershot boss Kevin Dillon told BBC Surrey: The pitch was dreadful. This particular arena is quite open so you should be able to grow grass quite easily. They've had four months to get the pitch right and it's inadequate. It's not good enough. As a spectacle the game was pretty inept. In the end the pitch probably won 3-0"

Oldham Athletic went for a day trip to Tranmere.

We managed to beat the bin-dippers 2 goals to 1!
