Just downloaded the latest version of Opera.

It looks good and with multi tab browsing as well.

Does anyone else use opera and have you had any problems?

I think I will use it instead of IE, which I hate.

I switched to Mozilla Firefox, which I find good.

I first encountered Opera, in 2003, when I had to test and evaluate a website, created for a college assignment, in multiple web browsers.

Never had any problems with Opera. It rarely gets its knickers in a twist, and it has fairly regular version updates.

I wouldn't use any other browser, by choice. It's what you get used to, I suppose.

Just remember that Opera is built from Mozilla, and Mozilla still rules all. :PDT_Xtremez_28:

Yes it is. At least the old ones were!
No they weren't! You must be getting mixed up with something else.

In fact Mozilla is from the same browser 'family' as Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, AOL and a few others - Mosaic. Opera has always been 'its own man'. Mozilla was launched, as an open-source version of Netscape, in 1998, whilst Opera was first seen in 1997. Mozilla is a North American project whilst Opera originates from Europe. In addition they both have completely different Layout Managers.

I had to research all of this type of information when I submitted my assignment, so it was relatively fresh in my mind.

I swear when I used to identify which Opera was on my father's PC, it said Mozilla somewhere in the "About" thing. :PDT_Xtremez_09:
