Arrived via the infamous Army Rumour Service....so this'll be Crab Air's equivalent then ?

Served in both dark blue and khaki but never light blue, though I've worked at two RAF stations in my lengthy 'career' with the MoD - Boscombe and ( creak) RAF Hendon back in the day.

Boscombe was fun for a spotter like me.....more like an extension of the Shuttleworth Collection I always thought.

Never mind the Ilyushin water bomber visit or the Night of the Black Crates - my freakiest moment was looking out the window at a Messerscmitt 109 complete with Luftwaffe nazi paint job growling up the taxiway into the ETPS hangar.....

Slightly intrigued by the site's title though......unfair to Goats !

PS the avatar is my ward, PFC Gotobed, USMC.....no really !

Welcome,

The name E-Goat stems from a Sqn slag mag ( The Rolling Goat) that used to be produced on the Sqn that Wobby ( Main E-Goat chap) and myself serve on.

It is also a kind of side ways tribute to the Goat Mascot that the aircraft apprentices at RAF Halton used to march up and down the hill.

Welcome to the ever expanding "family of goaters" if you have been in the services read the Wobbly thread on the intro's page and give us some more background (only if you wish to do so) via this medium I ahve found out that I have got a few old muckers on the site.

Well, thanks for the welcome guys....I'll have a look around and see what I can pin...liber.....see what a nice place you have here ! :-D

PS

slightly astounded to see Bitburger for sale in my local Morrisons the other week....bring on the Veltins !
