Recently, members of the Goat, and a charitable benefactor whom I don't know, have been instrumental in supplying the 1310 Flight Chinook Detachment at Camp Bastion with a Playstation Games Console.
Tasked to provide engineering support to Chinooks in operations around Afghanistan, the Bastion detachment is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Hopefully, the addition of the console to our entertainment and leisure facilities will help the time pass more quickly and provide a source of morale for members of the flight.
As requested, I attach a photograph of the console in use.
