Anyone out there know of any accepted post codes for BFPO that firms recognise for mail posting purposes?

It does cause some problems both online and when talking to some companies that can't deal with BFPO addresses. I've used ZZ99 9ZZ with success before though.

Before the move to Northolt, it was customary to use the one for Mill Hill. I assume the post code for Northolt would be the one to use.

The postcode for the BFPO sorting office in Ruislip, Middlesex is HA4 6DQ. I've been using this for sites like ebay with no problem at all, as long as you quote the BFPO number in the address. The posties have told me we shouldn't be using this, but i'm still getting post through and i've seen nothing in black and white.
