The move has been delayed again. 5 (IS) Sqn (ISSU IT Ops as it once was) at High Wycombe are still due to move by Aug 2007. The rest of TCW are not going for another 12 - 18 months. Thats what I've been told at Wycombe (we look after the network for IT Ops down the bunker)

I've heard a rumour that its been put back due to the typhoon. no jets to replace the F3 fleet so the tonkas are staying put until we have enough typhoons at other sites... then the wing will move.

Who the hell knows! Anything could happen yet, so for god's sake nobody buy houses at Northallerton yet just in case we don't end up going.

hhhhmmmmm

hhhhmmmmm

Maybe there is a better option for TCW sorry 90 SU....
All they need is a camp with good road links, some shiney building they can do a bit of training on Comms stuff, somewhere with radiation clearances for their Radars. Plenty of crap accomodation/sfa to make the BZN boys feel at home. A few hangers but not a fully operational airfield.
If only there were somewhere with two messes one for the RAF and one for the siggies, then they could go there too....

hhhmm where could they find such a place?
