PRTC on the 6th of nov!

excited much!!

and start recruit training on the 10/12

which brings me to a question....anyone who has been on RTS over xmas what time off do you get over the festive period itself?!?!?

oh and anyone else got these dates per chance?

You will be on guard for the entire festive season, confined to campand not allowed to drink. Those already in will get sh1tloads of time off and your share of the turkey!

In all probability you will be sent home just before Christmas Eve and return just after New Year but I'm sure if you ring RAF Halton, ask for Joe SWO he'll be able to tell you exactly:PDT_Xtremez_28:

cant quite remember how long i had off but it was between 1 and 2 weeks. and to be fair the hardest thing ever to do was coming back and getting back in to the swing of things. I spent 2 weeks being indoctorinated, then had civvie time over xmas and new year. First day back was a mass bollocking as we werent switched on and still in civvie mong mode. Good times:PDT_Xtremez_28:

good luck RTS is actually quite enjoyable......when you look back at it:PDT_Xtremez_35:

It seems in other training establishments we have Christmas Leave from the 19th till the 5th Jan, this may be the same for Halton. I'm sure you'll find out when you go, or ask when you do your Pre-RTC.

Enjoy Halton!

i've got those exact same dates, I can't wait!

got my rail warrant yesterday not sure whether to go my train or drive, from up north so not sure any ideas?

Get the train, it's much more fun getting screamed at as your feet touch the platform, there's always some numpty who turns up with an ear ring (bloke) or something equally funny.
