Hi all,

I just wanted to draw your attention to this guy, Andy Campbell.

He's ex-British Army and despite the fact that he is paralysed after a climbing accident 8 years ago is due to set off today on a journey around the World by Hand-bike, wheelchair, paraglider and Kayak to raise funds for his Chutkara charity.

The astounding thing about it all, is he does not want to go the conventional routes. He's going to avoid roads etc and go off the beaten track. Find out more at http://www.pushingthelimits.com

I think he's pretty incredible bloke.

Andy's first video diary of his week so far, already he's managed to travel 240 miles.

He tried to set off by Kayak down the Thames, but was warned by the Coast Guard to get out of the water ASAP as 40mph winds soon set in. Since then he's been Hand-Cycling and is now in Belgium.

The team are after interesting places to visit during their journey. In their own words "Don't spectate, participate!". See the webpage here for details:
