Can anyone please give me the right QR which gives authority for a superior to give a legal order and expect it to be followed? I would look myself but I do not have access to QRs for a few weeks and could do with the reference.

Thanks in advance

Harry

Armed Forces Act 2006

12 Disobedience to lawful commands

(1) A person subject to service law commits an offence if—

(a) he disobeys a lawful command; and

(b) he intends to disobey, or is reckless as to whether he disobeys, the command.
(2) A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable to any punishment mentioned in the Table in section 164, but any sentence of imprisonment imposed in respect of the offence must not exceed ten years.

If you are going to fizz someone, don't quote the QR at them, just do it for whatever and let P1 sort it out.

S'right. You dont quote QR's. Charge them with what they were told to do, and didn't.

Mrs Queen says you have to obey Orders.

In my Commission Parchment in which she in her great wisdom and Janet Reager knickers calls me 'Our Tusty and Well Beloved' - me - she says, "We do hearby Command them (that's all you lot) to Obey you (that's me, again) as their superior Officer".

(Note though, she says that to all the orifficers, even the babbie ones).

Some even delegate some of the order-giving to Corporals !! :PDT_Xtremez_35:

So, watch it.

First day at Swinders/Halton:

"I, Bob Frapples, Swear by Almighty God that I will be Faithful and bear True Allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, her Heirs and Successors, and that I will, as in Duty bound, Honestly and Faithfully Defend Her Majesty, her Heirs and Successors, in Person, Crown and Dignity against all Enemies and will Observe and Obey all Orders of Her Majesty, her Heirs and Successors, and of the Air Officers and other Officers set over me."

Not that it carries any weight in a Court of Law though.:PDT_Xtremez_06:

It's just a pity that your commission hasn't improved your spelling. :PDT_Xtremez_14:
