Hi everybody,

Could anyone tell me how long it takes from first registering an interest to taking your first fitness test for an Officer?

Thanks for any help

You do the fitness test at OASC - got to get throught the filer interview before that. Also it depends if your chosen trade is open - most of them are closed at the moment (including mine :() and the AFCO won't progress your application until your trade re-opens. Last I heard we were looking at November (but I'm sure one of the recruiters on here will correct me if I'm wrong).

Mate, As i received my OASC date a couple of weeks ago for early december, (I am going for wsop), I would suggest that a november OASC is highly unlikely if your application has not yet been submitted. It may be a possiblity if youve passed your filter interview like ladylaw, but it does obviously depend on the specialisation.
