RAF Bombers Halted by Peat Bogs

Now is this gash reporting or did I get this wrong in my own head?

Spade's an EW range so they don't drop real bombs do they???

The RAF is to halt bombing on one of its ranges to allow a landscape of ancient peat bogs to be restored.

Is this instead a case of closing the range temporarily?

The report states the Range will close whilst the trees are removed…
Sounds like a bit of common sense H&S at work to me…

Won’t do for one of those ‘’giant’’ trees to fall onto a low flying aircraft would it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
