The Seaplane? A Walrus??

Strangely enough - I found this vid today - 1955 - a Vulcan :

The Vulcan (B1) clip looks like the one lost down under - no doubt that one of the anoraks will correct me.

I believe it crash landed (sucessfully!?) elsewhere - lucky to get away with it I think :)

OK - Lets try - Sunderland in that case :)
 
Finally got it !

The crash was in New Zealand - at the end of the clip you can see the port u/c leg just dangling and a fairly mashed wing tip. He got it down safely. We had one in Shiraz (Iran) with a hydraulic and emergency blow down pipe failure on one main leg and he did a two leg landing. Would have got away with it but a BIG monsoon drain got in the way. The other leg failure that I know about was in Malta. Sadly the rear crew and crew chiefs were killed.
