Hey guys just a quick question.

Been looking into signing up to the RAF and wanted to do an IT based role. Currently im doing IT trainning and working on getting my Win server 2k3 and maybe MCSE at sompoint.

Anyway i still have about 4months or so left on my cource so just wanted some advice on if it worth signing up to something like 600 Northholt and do communications for a year or so and discover if i would enjoy signing up as an ICT speciallist later as full time.

Could u guys tell me the best way to get into the reservers or get some info about it as the webiste is ****.

Also is the Communications side of the reservers anything like the ICT specialist route in the main RAF?

thanks =]

The reserves (or Auxiliaries) site is not the most informative that I have ever seen. However, it does have contact details on there for each squadrons, and a little about the roles available. If you are interested then give them a call, they are not that scary...honestly. They will have a chat with you, perhaps invite you to an information evening or send out some stuff in the post. To my knowledge many are actively recruiting and will be only too pleased to hear from you. Give it a go. Good luck.
