You may ask........ What's this all about?

Well............. I thought it might be a good idea to have one web site (and a Browser Toolbar - more on that later) dedicated to all things Royal Air Force, a central point providing links to Royal Air Force related Web Sites.

The idea is not that I will trawl the Internet for Royal Air Force related web sites to add to a site, instead I would ask you the Royal Air Force and EX-Royal Air Force Community to advise me of the locations of the best Royal Air Force web sites on the Internet, now these sites may be your own web site, your association web site or in fact any Royal Air Force related web site you may have come across whilst surfing the world wide web.

You then provide me with that information and I go see what it's all about and add it to to the Royal Air Force Browser Toolbar (wait for it!).

I then contact the web site owner and advise him/her that his/her web site is included on the Royal Air Force Browser Toolbar and ask the site owner to include a download link to the Royal Air Force Browser Toolbar download page to provide his/her site visitors the opportunity to download the toolbar and thereby spread the word.

You are now advised to download the Royal Air Force Browser Toolbar by clicking on the banner at the top of this page.

When you wish to advise me of a Royal Air Force Related Web Site just click on "Royal Air Force" on the left hand side of the toolbar, this will take you to a Contact Form on this site with which you will use to send me the web site's location (URL).

However, I would ask you first to check via the Royal Air Force Browser Toolbar to ensure that the web site is not already listed. E-GOAT is already listed!

Sorry guys, I forgot this was an RAF site and some of you guys can't even put two sentences together.

I should've posted one sentence at a time!

Things haven't improved since my Shawbury Days! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Sentences are good (unless of course you have a long one to serve!) but you need some content to make them up.....what you "went on about" was drivel though...who on here would like a list of all RAF sites.....most of us know how bad it really is and would not touch it these days with a bargepole. If it were not for the pension trap the RAF would find itself totally floundering....but the fact is it's not far off now.

I'm guessing you didn't do your 22 /

Toolbar, if it's not too impertinant, may I ask what your Mil history is and why you want to do this toolbar malarkey?

Well not yet...i've got 18 months till i'm out officially(thats my official 22 year point)..but thats with 9 months "for the queen" cause i was stupid and 17 when i joined up.

It's not all it's cracked up to be these days...once upon a time it was great but a week in this air farce cancels it all out.

No Problem!

1. I was was a full time regular in the RN/FAA.

2. I am doing it for the beneifit of ALL Serving and Ex-Servicemen ( sorry Servicepersons ). Hopefully, if it takes off it will benefit four ex-service charities ( see HERE ).

I hope this answers your questions.

Well good luck with that, anything that raises money for the charities you nominate is OK by me for what that endorsement is worth.

Still not sure just what it is you are doing though but I am particularly thick this time on a Friday night:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Cheers, endorsments are good from any quarter!

In a nutshell (hopefully) the idea is you download the toolbar of your choice, then click on the name on the left of the toolbar e.g. "Royal Air Force" this then takes you to a web form which you use to provide me with all of your favourite RAF web sites.

Then within a day or two they are added to the toolbar so that you and other RAF Toolbar downloaders have instant access to all things RAF related!

Sorry to hear you feel that way, although I guess I felt something like that within my last year.

In particular towards new entry pigs (sorry Naval Officers) who hadn't a clue about the Real RN, other than what they were taught at Dartmouth.

Even, so I would give my left bo***ck to be back in the Andrew.

You were right first time with Servicemen. Don't start all that Serviceperson $hite. It's as bad as Tossford with its Tradesperson rubbish.

Don't wish to offend but it is unnecessary.

Good luck with your project.
