Im looking at rejoing(already) and am thinking of a new trade and was wondering if I would rejoin on my previous wage...any ideas peeps....

What was your previous wage? What was your previous trade? A little more info would be nice.

The decison on what you will be paid on re-entry is dependant on the following: Previous Service, trade, how long you've been out of the Service, trade on re-entry, however, it is not necessarily in that order before re-joining it is best to get stuff in writing as not only does this help you but it helps the Adminners too. With a written confirmation you will get what you want!

Been keeping an eye on this topic. Good bit of gen WM. How would you get written confirmation though? AFCO?

It's pretty much up to Manning to determine what seniority you are awarded, they will calculate how long you served, how long you have been out, a few sums and eventually award you some type of seniority. Trade Sponsor may also on occasion have a say on it. This in turn will produce what pay level you will rejoin as. Definately no guarantee you will come in as the same wage you left on, but it may not be far off in the majority of cases. All depends on what rank you left as too.
