Im wondering what the likely hood is of being allowed to rejoin the RAF?
I served 6 years as a scopie and left for family reasons, over 2 years have passed and Id like to go back to my old trade but im now 32 (upper limit is 29) but was hoping my previous service and experience would be a plus and get me back in.
Anyone on here able to shed any light on the situation?

Probably not the best time to apply, but chat to your local AFCO for the latest gen.

As Busby says, not the best time. But upper age limits can be waived.

I had a fitter on my IOT, he left 4 years previous at the ripe old age of 33, started IOT at 37.
